PinTest: Organizing Scarves Using a Hanger & Shower Curtain Rings
I am constantly inspired, amazed, intrigued (and distracted) by things I find on Pinterest. So it only makes sense that SO feature a segment on Pinterest projects from at-home organizational gurus like you! SO is putting this project to the PinTest.
Project: Organize Scarves Using a Hanger & Shower Curtain Rings
Original Source: Pinterest image; Origin unknown
Supplies:
1 Hanger [Pack of 10 ~ Wal-Mart ~ $1.17]
12 Shower Curtain Rings [Pack of 12 ~ Wal-Mart ~ $1.16]
Total Cost: $2.33 + tax ( & includes 9 extra bonus hangers!)
From Start to Finish: <5 minutes
The Process: This project looked pretty simple- and it was! Fasten the shower curtain rings onto the bottom of a hanger, feed your scarves through the rings, and voila! Instant organization for all of your scarves.
The SO Verdict: This project is quick and easy and the result is actually functional! The only downside? If you only have 12 rings on your hanger, they tend to all slide to one side. For a small collection of scarves, consider tying funky cloth in between the rings to keep them from shifting. Larger collections (30+ rings) will level out the hanger so they don’t all go to one side. Sliding aside, this project definitely passed the PinTest! A quick and easy solution to keeping your scarves organized, visible, and easy to grab when you need them!
